Session Two - Life as a Permanent Refugee

Suzann will be joined by Beirut and Beyond board member, Steve Phillips. Steve is a lawyer and geo-political nerd with a focus on the Middle East.

We will be discussing the factors that keep Palestinians in refugee status, the vulnerability of being stateless, life as the diaspora in Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan, UNRWA, legal issues like Right of Return, generational refugee status, and Palestinian Christians.
