Ibrahim from Phoenician Kabob is generously opening up his restaurant’s kitchen to teach a series of classes on Palestinian cuisine!
We will cook together and then feast on the work of our hands! The cost of the class is $100. All proceeds go to our partner in Beirut, Simsim Kitchen.
Simsim Kitchen facilitates cooking classes in Lebanon and online, hosted by refugee woman to provide income and celebrate culture. In 2022, they started collecting recipes from the different regions in Lebanon for a cookbook to highlight the diversity and resiliency of Palestinian and Syrian refugees, Lebanese citizens, and Armenian descendants.
